Increasing popularity of the stretch films is caused by its ability of 300% plus reversible expansion. Also it is popular because of its featured high resistance against pricking and tearing (other films’ properties are poorer) and extended strength performance.

Reliability is the critical feature of the stretch film, and it certainly depends on the film type and its tension degree. Most of polyethylene and additives performance depends on properties of film material, such as expansion and adhesiveness.

By packaging method this material is subdivided into: stretch film for hand packaging and for machined packaging.
